Oka Varshaakaalapu Saayantram - Yandamoori Veerendranath

A book mixing fiction with the current affairs/history of a nation.. while the history remains accurate the characters in the novel associated with it are fictitious.  This is an experiment in writing..

Coincidentally, I have read a similar book the prodigal daughter loosely woven around US presidential campaign and political stuff there and this is about the issue of Kargil war, financial backing of US to the nations in the world and that stuff... though it is largely fictional, some points as usual raise certain genuine thoughts..

An okay and breezy read.

The Prodigal Daughter - Jeffrey Archer

I really really love Jeffrey Archer.. Not a Penny Less, Not a Penny More, Kane and Abel.. awesome works!! just enjoy them to the core.  Very tight narrative, good thinking and good research on the subject.

I loved the book prodigal daughter the first time I read and each time after a long gap between I just relished it always...

It was my dream to be a Prodigal Daughter ;).. now I dream to have a Prodigal Daughter... easy peasy ;).

A very good read!!

Rakshasudu - Yandamoori Veerendranath

I do not think I have seen this movie or may be I dont remember it but Rakshasudu is a good read, time pass ... and as usual more than the novel, I liked the part where the author explains how the idea of the book started and progressed.

It is a purely fictional work about a man who goes through a lot in trying to figure who his mother is.. his life and turns and twists, his involvement with mafia, smugglers, gang wars, etc. and how he finally finds his calling and realizes the importance of nation or the mother earth which has given us everything.. How the emotions of a man to find his mother are cashed on by jackals in the society..!!
